VPA Standards
The Victorian Pharmacy Authority Standards (“the Standards”) were published in the Government Gazette No. G 19 Thursday 12 May 2022 (see pages 2435-2440).
The Standards
- have been approved by the Victorian Minister for Health;
- commence on 12 May 2022; and
- apply to all registered premises in Victoria, except where specifically excluded.
Licensees are responsible for meeting the Standards.

VPA Guidelines
The VPA Guidelines
- represent the current policies of the Authority;
- support the Standards and the requirements of the Pharmacy Regulation Act 2010; and
- should be read in conjunction with
- the Standards
- guidelines issued by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- standards and guidelines issued by pharmacy professional organisations
