PREMISES REGISTRATION AND LICENCE RENEWALS FOR 2012/2013 ARE NOW DUE.
In accordance with section 43 of the Pharmacy Regulation Act 2010 your renewal of licence to carry on a pharmacy business must be made before 1 July each year. Failure to renew by the due date will mean that you will no longer be licensed to carry on a pharmacy business and therefore not able to operate your pharmacy business.

In accordance with section 52 of the Pharmacy Regulation Act 2010 your renewal of registration of pharmacy or pharmacy department or pharmacy depot premises must be made before 1 July each year. Failure to renew by the due date will mean that the pharmacy or pharmacy department or pharmacy depot will no longer be registered and therefore a pharmacy business may not be carried on at the pharmacy or pharmacy department or pharmacy depot.

Welcome to the website of the Victorian Pharmacy Authority (VPA) which is the successor in law to the Pharmacy Board of Victoria. The VPA is responsible for administration of the Pharmacy Regulation Act 2010 (the Act) which provides for the regulation of pharmacy businesses, pharmacy departments and pharmacy depots.


The Act requires the owners of pharmacy businesses, pharmacy departments and pharmacy depots to hold a licence and the premises of pharmacy businesses, pharmacy departments and pharmacy depots to be registered.
